Hello, my name is Bear. I’m a super sweet Pyr mix boy who adores people and likes to give hugs. I’d be a lap dog if you’d let me! My shelter family say I am a really beautiful boy whose photos do not do me justice. I am on the smaller side and look more like a mini Pyr, maybe mixed with golden retriever or collie.

I listen well to commands and I am pretty good on a leash. I do not get along well with other animals though and may chase those pesky cats if I get excited! I need to find a home where I’m the one and only in the house. I love to run, so a fenced in yard and daily walks are a must for me. I don’t mind kids, but I can play a bit rough, so older kids are probably the best to have around me. I have been in other homes before, but can’t seem to find my Pyrfect match (pyrfect…get it???..I crack me up!). I tend to be extremely protective of my home and have been known to nip at strangers - especially delivery people. I need a person who can help me correct this behavior. I sometimes just forget and nipping is my reaction. Please help me find my forever family!
