My name is Bernice, but please call me Bernie for short. I am stunning with strong orange, black and white calico markings. By far, my favorite toy is the wand, especially a small, fleece mouse on an elastic string. The more I leap, run, and chase the better—to keep my lean, girlish figure and the happy endorphins flowing. I love to play interactively and will run off with the mouse on the wand, while it is still in your hand. I love attention and am very engaged. Call me, and I am right there with head butts or to brush against you. I like to hop on your lap to be petted, snuggle, or just talk. I will meow and fidget to let you know when I have had enough. I’ll decide. I guess I have a bit of catitude. I like things my own way. I never want you to shoo me off your lap, and if you toss me on the floor, I may show my upset with a little growl. It just comes out, but deep down inside I am a sweet, little kitty-cat. I do not want to share you with other cats, so I require a home where I am the only pet. A home with adults or older teens who know my limits is best.
