Hi! My name is Bobbin and I am indeed a sprite - I weigh only 5½ pounds! - and I’m lively and I like to run and play and I totally adore people. I just dote on attention! Purrs, biscuits, and head bumps are my specialties. I enjoy being carried around, too, and don’t even mind hanging out with noisy groups of people, well, for awhile anyway.

You may think that I’m just a teenager, but - fooled you! - I’m actually twelve years old. I may act like a spring chicken (actually, I might like having the spring chicken over for dinner), but I’m beginning to suffer the ailments of the elderly. I currently have a hyperthyroid condition, actually the reason I’m so lightweight. This now seems to be under control with my specialized diet, and the hospital says that possible renal issues also seem to be in abeyance. I’m finally gaining weight! My adopter will need to be aware that I must stay on this strict prescription diet and that I will probably begin to need medicines and extra medical attention as time passes. In return my adopter will have the companionship, affection, and enthusiasm of a remarkable (if I do say so myself) and people-centric kitty, while I gain the love of a forever home in which to nap and snuggle and play for my final years.
