Well, hello! Our names are Boris & Pixie. I have been told I am a handsome dude with the stripe down my nose, what do you think? My sister’s name is Pixie-she’s the pretty petite kitty, on the right.

A nice lady rescued us and our other sibling, Noel (also on Core Paws), from a feral cat colony in North Portland last year. We have been well cared for, with several other kittens this past year, by a lovely person with a huge heart.

However for us to flourish, we need more individual attention to help us gain confidence, so that we can learn to trust more people. Can you be that person? Our foster mom took Pixie to the vet because she was smaller than her siblings, and discovered that she has pancreatitis and is on a prescription food diet. She doesn’t require any medication or supplements, but does need her blood work done every three months. She will be so grateful to you if you can do this for her.

My foster mom says that we are great cats, and we both like attention once we get to know you. We would love to find a home, hopefully with a sunny window from which we can look out onto the world, with a person(s) who will be patient and understand that shy cats need to take things one-day-at-a-time, often in small steps.
