Hi. I’m Callie. I’m a sweet, beautiful 8 year old Black Lab/Shepherd mix. I’ve been waiting patiently to find my true love. I’m hoping it’s you!

I do have a unique personality, but once you get to know me, and I get to know you, I know we could be best pals. I’m looking for a calm home without children. I would need to be the only pet – hey, I want you all to myself. I’d be okay with one adult or possibly a couple.

I’m not the best with other dogs, but if they leave me alone (for instance when we’re on walks), I’ll leave them alone too.

Some of my favorite pastimes are snuggling, swimming, playing fetch and going on long walks with my special someone. I will admit I’m wary of new people and may take a bit to warm up to you. Our initial greeting might not go as smoothly as you’d like, but I hope you’ll see past my somewhat abrasive manner and give me the chance to get to know and trust you.

I’m a smart lady and, in addition to the basic commands, know beg, roll over, and how to find things. I’ve even passed my Canine Good Citizen test! I know my true love is out there somewhere. Could it be you?
