Hi! I’m Chloe! I was hurt on the head when I was a baby, but I love everyone and am so glad I have a chance for happily ever after. I was rescued last summer when I was only 6 weeks old, and I’ve been working hard to overcome my sad beginning ever since. My rescuers say I’m a very special girl, and that I just need to find an equally special family to love me forever.

The hit on my head left me with a traumatic brain injury. Because of it, I am a slow-learner and I need lots of patience and understanding. I also do best in quiet environments because loud noises and lots of chaos stresses me out. I love other dogs and cats, especially to play and run with outside, but I’d prefer to be the only doggy in the house. Most importantly, I need my forever parents to be home a lot and promise to give me medication that manages my seizures. I know I’m asking for a lot. But, I promise that I will repay my forever family with endless cuddles and kisses, naps on the couch, and with as many belly rubs as you’re willing to give me – I love belly rubs!!

My rescuers at Rescue Dogs Rock NYC call themselves “Team Chloe”. If you think you could be my special forever home, you can contact them and they will give you all sorts of additional details about me. My ideal home would have my people around most of the time and a fenced yard so I can run like the wind, I love being off-leash in a safe place. I should let everyone know that I do still have accidents in the house. But, in my defense, I do have a traumatic brain injury and I’ve been moved around a lot. I think I can get the potty-training thing down with a consistent routine and patience!
