Hi everyone my name is Cupid, Im a 3 year old American Bulldog mix. I was brought into a shelter in Southern California after being picked up off of the streets I was living on. I stayed in the shelter for almost 3 months, no one was picking me to be their fur-ever dog. On the day that I was supposed to die, because the shelter needed my kennel for other thrown away dogs, a nice team of angels saved me. Cupid is a great name to describe me, because I’m so grateful for being loved and rescued from a kill shelter and I give that love back to my humans. I love all people and I’m especially great with children.

I’ve had successful interactions with 6 medium to large dogs. I like bigger dogs as long as they don’t run up to me or try to be mean to me. I do have a prey drive and little dogs or cats would not be safe around me. I’m housebroken and I know basic commands such as sit, stay, and lay down. I love car rides and sticking my head out the window, going for hikes and runs. I’m very friendly and I do not bark, unless I’m excited. I sleep through the night, I don’t chew or destroy things besides my balls, I don’t scratch at the door, I don’t have separation anxiety, I walk well on a leash, I love giving kisses and butt wags.

I am hoping to find a family that will love me and understand, I will give you all my love, if you give me time and patience. Please understand just because I have a prey drive and don’t care for small animals it does not make me a bad girl. I’m working with a trainer and she said I’m a great pup, I just need someone to see that. With time I will become your dream pup, will you love me forever, please?
