Description:

My name is Firewater. I’m a fun-loving guy with a heart of gold who loves everybody! I’m not very complicated, but there are a couple of things that make me extra special. I’ve been blind in my right eye since birth, so I’m easily startled and sometimes react badly when I am approached from that side, but I don’t hurt anybody! I also have had “cluster-seizures” which are basically a whole bunch of seizures all at once. I’m on anti-inflammatory eye drops for my eye, and something called an “anticonvulsant” that has worked for over a year to keep my seizures at bay. Neither of my medications is difficult to administer, and I’m used to them.

I’ve been told I’m more puppy-like than other dogs my age, which makes me super fun! I love to run, eat, play with my toys, eat some more, and of course, snuggle. I also really like kids because they are super fun like me! Sometimes, though, being puppy-like can be received poorly by other dogs that don’t know me. This is fine with me because I’d much rather stay home with my furry siblings than ever leave my house! I’ve been known to cry a lot when I have to leave the comfort of my space, and I am really scared of the dark since it makes even familiar places seem different!

I would really love to have a place with a yard and a great family to go with it. Would you like to be my human buddy who will hang out with me at home most of the time? I’ll reward you with years of happiness and snuggles!
