Hi! My name is Friday and I’m a happy, social guy who needs a little help. I arrived here at Greyhound Pet Adoptions Northwest 2 years ago after a short racing career where my life was very predictable, and I am finding my new, unstructured life of leisure a little overwhelming. I need clear boundaries and a reliable schedule to make me comfortable. I am not a big fan of other dogs. I especially don’t like surprises and I bite other dogs when I am startled. I never go looking for trouble, but for this reason I am looking for a family with no other pets or young children. With a predictable schedule, I am happy to hang out at home lazing around while my people go to work. I love going for walks, and am content trot along by your side as long as I can sniff stuff as we go. I also love people, and will ask for pets from anyone I meet! Occasionally, I like to let loose and run super fast around the yard.

I should also tell you that I have something called low thyroid. To help me with that, I will need to be on medication for the rest of my life. It’s really not a big deal since I take my medication easily and never put up a fuss.
