Hi! They call me Ms. Ginger, and I am seriously a smart cookie. My caregivers can’t figure out why no one has scooped me up! I’m gorgeous (so they tell me), intelligent, active, and on a mission to get out and explore all the world has to offer.

I walk great on leash, and I’m proud to say that I’ve been a student at Surf City Dog Training for the past two months where I’ve shown an enthusiastic enjoyment of Nose Work. My caregivers think I have a Nose for Competition and would make a great partner for anyone interested in K9 Nose Work. I know basic commands (Sit, Stay, Come, Down) and “will work for treats.”

I’m on the hunt for the perfect active home. Are you a runner? Avid hiker? Explorer? I want to be your partner! Believe me, I’m great for any kind of outdoorsy activity, walks, yard time (fenced, please), you name it - if you ‘got exercise’ , I’m your next best friend! Don’t get me wrong, I love my down time, but I generally want an active person to be my family. I’m fine with kids, but I definitely do not want to be around cats or other dogs. So, please don’t put me in a situation with them. I love to chase things and have a pretty high prey drive, and require a secure fenced yard and to be on a leash when not in an enclosed area.
