Description:

What’s up! They call me Gomez, though my foster mom has many nicknames for me. I’m a stocky tabby boy who acts more like a dog than a cat, to be quite honest. I am 10 years old and like to stay close to my people and will follow them from room to room to make sure I’m available at the drop of a hat. I’m considerate like that.

I am not so much of a lap cat as a snuggle-up-beside-you cat. My foster mom thinks I was a house cat that either lost my way or was left to fend for myself. I have great house manners – I use my litterbox, my scratching post, and am easily redirected when I get in the way.

I’m looking for a quiet home with adult women only. Men and kids scare me, it’s probably from something that happened to me in the past, but I don’t like to talk about it. I do best with just 1 or 2 people. I should do well with another mellow and friendly cat, but PLEASE no dogs. I really don’t like them! I am neutered, just had a dental, and am all up-to-date on my shots. My crinkled ear will need to be cleaned fairly regularly, but I’m very tolerant when my foster mom does it. If you are looking for a friendly and charmingly quirky fellow to be your best friend, you should definitely consider me!
