Description:
Hey guys, my name is Hal!
I get overlooked a lot because I have Epilepsy and require meds twice a day. However since I started taking my medication, I haven’t had any seizures at all, and I feel great! Other than seizures, I’m super healthy. I weigh about 25 pounds.
I get along with dog-friendly cats and most other dogs. I can guard my food and treats sometimes, but I just want everyone to know that they are mine. My ideal home would be one without young kids. They make me feel a little on-edge. I love adults though! And my shelter family tells me I give every warning in the book when I get upset—some people just don’t know how to read them.
While I do have long hair, I’m not the biggest fan of being groomed. My family at the shelter just brushes me for a little while, until I tell them that I’m done. We do this a little bit each day so that my fur stays nice, soft and mat-free.
I love my shelter family, but they always tell me that I would do so well in a home of my very own. I wouldn’t mind a couch to lay on, a comfortable bed, car rides and nice walks.
