Hello, kind people! My name is Ian. I’m really very sweet, but I am also very shy. I came to House of Dreams in late summer after a stint at the county shelter. The humans at county were very nice to me, but I was astonished by all the activity there and was quite frightened. It is quieter at HOD, and I know I am well loved, but I would really like an even calmer environment with a gentle, patient person dedicated to helping me come out of my shell. I love to be petted and will happily purr, make muffins and drool if you sit with me. I am a little head shy, but if you introduce yourself by offering your hand for me to sniff, I will let you know with a gentle nudge if I would like you to pet me. I do love attention.

I am healthy and have excellent manners and habits and want to remain an indoor-only kitty. I am a pacifist. I like other cats as long as they don’t try to bully me. I don’t have an aggressive bone in my body and don’t wish to be treated rudely by humans or non-humans! I just want a forever home, with a loving human who I trust and who trusts and understands me.
