Hi! My name is Jeckles. I am a senior kitty who has been at the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society since April 2013. I was born in 2003, and my friends here at the shelter call me the “wise old man cat.” The volunteers here love me, because I am friendly and very laid back. My favorite place to be is out on our “catio” lounging in the sun.

I may need to be the only cat because of my FIV+ condition, but I am so mild mannered with other cat friends and have no teeth, that I’m sure if you thought I was right for your family I would fit in fine with other mellow cats.

My caretakers here at the shelter say that I take my medications easily and don’t give a fuss. This makes my condition very easy to deal with.

I have been waiting and waiting to find a family I can call my own. Give me a chance, and I will let you brush and pet me. Won’t that be nice? See you soon!
