Oh hey! My name is Jewel and I was born in a feral cat colony in Molalla. I was found by a nice person who asked a rescue group to care for me. Being a feral kitten, I needed a lot of individual attention to learn to trust people. It takes me a little while to warm up to someone but when I do, I love attention and become a loyal best friend.

I’m not a fan of being picked up but will let you pet me all day. I love laser pointers, sun bathing (don’t tell anyone but I don’t use SPF 30) and playing with wands with things to catch on the end. I live with other cats and get along with them but am a little timid. Being around an aggressive or dominant cat would not be good for me. An adult home, with older children, would be best since my foster home has always been quiet. I am affectionate with my foster mom because I know her and although it may take me a little while, I would like to learn to love you too!
