My name is Kitty, which is pretty silly because I’m not a cat! I originally came to Atlanta Humane from a shelter in South Carolina. I was here about a week, when a nice lady adopted me for her daughter. Over four years later, her daughter had to bring me back because she couldn’t take care of me. It took almost eight months, but finally a nice man took me to live with his family and dog sibling. When I met him at the shelter, I liked him so they took me home but over time, things didn’t go so well and they brought me back. Now I spend my time with my AHS family.

They are really good to me and I like them but I am looking forward to having my own forever family! I am a bit of an introvert. While I don’t mind being with the dogs in my play group, I don’t play very much and prefer to lay with my “frog legs” stretched out behind me and watch the action. On my walks, I like to bark at other dogs… it’s just something about that leash and another dog, I can’t help myself.

My AHS family calls me a ‘sweetheart’, which I am, sweet-natured and affectionate. Oh and pretty, with a little brindle in my coat, white paw tips and a white diamond on my throat. I love to hear them say “Awwww” when then look into my eyes and scratch my chin then giggle because my white, scruffy whiskers tickle them when I steal a kiss. I am on the small side of medium and might be a great apartment, small home or even a shop dog!

I just want a family of my own and home of my own – forever.
