Description:
Hey there, my name’s Lisa, and I’m a beautiful, black & white tuxedo lady! My family and I were originally pulled from a high kill shelter right after Hurricane Harvey hit. Once my siblings became old enough, my mom and them all got adopted into families, and for some reason, I’m still here. They must be saving the best for last because I’m quite special! I was born paraplegic, with no use in my two back legs or tail. I need help with expressing my bladder twice per day, and I can only eat wet food. I always sit very still when the nice ladies come to help me go potty, too.
Even though I’m over a year old, I still have an adorable kitten face—and a kitten personality! I’m incredibly affectionate and love to be petted on my face or held in your arms for some snuggling. But sometimes I really get going with a string wand toy, a toy mouse, or a little springy toy. Anything can be a toy with the right attitude, I always say! I can get along well with other cats, but they don’t seem to like me ‘cause I move differently than what they’re used to. I’ve also been known to be friends with smaller dogs as well. I love making friends of all kinds! I adore having conversations with you and can be quite chatty when you first come home to greet me or when I’m hungry!
If it sounds like I could be the one for you, please come meet me! Thank you for giving me a chance to introduce myself. I can’t wait to finally meet you!
