Hello there, may I introduce myself? MOMO is my name, and I am the most soulful, gentle, sweet cat you will ever meet. I was born in May 2016 and am very affectionate and cuddly.

Truth be told I had a very rough start in life on the mean streets of Portland, but I am totally trusting of people. When I was a baby, I was unable to use my hind legs, and everyone was very worried about me. The rescue signed me up for physical therapy which included chiropractic adjustments, acupressure and cold laser treatments. My foster mom worked with me on my core strength every day and within a short amount of time I began to recover. I think it is because she also used a therapy called: PLAY. I must admit that this is my favorite program to this day.

Initially folks considered me a special needs kitten. Now that I am almost grownup, I am just special, actually. I am proud to say that I surprised everybody because I made a complete and full recovery!! My ideal home would be filled with love and calm energy. I would also love to have someone check in on me and not be alone all day, even though I am mellow and not demanding.
Let me tell you that my foster mom thinks that I am the greatest. She calls me all these funny names such as sweetie girl, little lotus flower, precious one, and on and on it goes. Believe me, I am soaking it all up. It feels so good to be loved and taken care of. From the bottom of my heart I wish to settle down in my permanent home soon. I cannot wait to gaze at you, play with you and fill your heart with love.

The Rescue requires a special adoption agreement with MOMO’S prospective adopter. MOMO is currently on a yearlong wellness plan which is included in her adoption. MOMO also eats high quality grain free food which she needs to continue. We are happy to fill you in on the details.

MOMO’S adoption contract requires that MOMO continues to see her current veterinarian to ensure treatment consistency while she is on the year long wellness plan. We also ask for bi-weekly updates (phone, email) about MOMO including photos or videos during the first year of her adoption and three home visits. We want to ensure that MOMO continues to thrive and are available as a resource for the adopter for her life time.
