Description:

Hello! My name is Odie. I’ve been adoptable for a very long time, over 10 years to be exact. Let me start off by saying that I love humans, absolutely love them. You make me so incredibly happy! I love going to the beach, riding in cars, playing ball and making you proud. I’ve been told how wonderfully obedient and tidy I am. I don’t chew on anything and keep my kennel really clean. As a senior, I am ready to relax and cuddle with you at the end of your day, just say the word.

Let me know how I can make you happy, because you make me happy just being close to me.

When you meet me, you’ll fall in love and I will be in your mind and heart for years to come. If you have animals, I can’t go home with you because I need to be the only animal in your life. I was found by police as a stray puppy (around 8 months old), and have been loved and cared for by my wonderful caregivers at Florence Area Humane Society ever since. I’m eleven years old now, and its been a long 10 years in a kennel environment. It’s just really hard to find a family in a small rural beach town that is willing to understand and work with my reactivity to other animals. But, I know that there is someone out there that will give me the life that I deserve, that every animal deserves.

My caregivers tell me that I have so many friends always thinking about me. I am forever grateful to everyone who keeps me in their mind. I have so much love to give, and I am hoping to live out the rest of my senior years with a family of my own, for the very first time. Could that be you?
