Hello there! My name is Opal and I am a young girl that is looking for a fun family to play with! I’m about two years old, though that is just a guess from my vet. I was found as a stray and taken into the rescue earlier this year. I thought I had found a family, but it didn’t work out….because they had 5 other dogs and that was a bit intimidating for me!

I get along wonderfully with both small and big dogs (just not 5 at one time!)…and I like cats too. I would do best in a home with another mellow dog or as an “only” dog. I have a bit of a “take charge” personality, so having mellow friends would be best for me. I have lived at the rescue farm for quite some time and I have met lots of other animals; dogs, goats, baby calves and chickens! I think with a fun and happy family around me, that I will blossom into the best companion!

I am up to date on my preventive care with vaccines and dewormers, and I have been microchipped and spayed as well.

I am looking for a lap to warm and a yard to play in. I would also love to go for long walks if you have the time and energy!
