Hi! My name is Pippi and I’m a 4 year old pit bull terrier mix! I am a super wonderful girl who will be your favorite companion. I love walks, car rides and doing things with my people, but walks are my favorite! I have wonderful house manners and don’t destroy things (not even my plush toys!). I stay off furniture, don’t bark, beg or counter surf. I actually prefer to be in my crate when home alone, but no more than 4-6 hours, or I start to get lonely! If you are someone who can play positive training games and reward me with treats and a friendly happy voice, then I aim to please!

I’m an excellent co-pilot on road trips! I’m currently working on containing my excitement when I see squirrels or other dogs on walks. Because of my size (I am a big girl and I get excited around kids), so only a home with big kids for me. I also think cats are pretty fun to chase, so my foster mom says none of those either. I do like calm, polite dogs with good social skills though! I live with another dog in my foster home and we are great friends, but I need slow, one-on-one dog introductions. Barking dogs are also a little overwhelming to me, so please keep me safe from dog parks.

My ideal home would be a family, couple, or single guardian with a secure fenced backyard. I’m a delightfully calm, smart, and sweet girl. I need a quiet home with a forever family who understands my sensitive nature. I love walks, and if you like to drive, I love car rides! I need daily exercise, positive training games, and the proper guidance and reward-based training to help me walk politely. Won’t you consider me for your forever home?
