Description:

Hi! My name is Reina and I am a gorgeous, fluffy, 3-year-old brown tabby female kitty with white fur in a tuxedo pattern and orange highlights, sometimes called a tabby/tortie or torbie! I love to have my chin and the back of my head scratched and enjoy being brushed. I will sit for hours on your lap while you type on the computer or watch TV. When my foster mom picks me up from the cat tree, I will wrap my paws around her neck and hug her! It is very easy to trim my nails and my fur is soft like a bunny’s. When I am feeling safe, I will purr to show my affection. Also, I am very good with the litterbox and scratching post.

Before being rescued, I was in a very scary place - the people there were physically abusive to me. Then it was discovered that I was pregnant! I was so lucky to be rescued so that I could give birth to my babies in a loving WCDC foster home. I was a very good, but very protective mother and my foster mom thought maybe I was semi-feral. Once the babies were all adopted out and I was spayed, I was moved to another foster home to see if I was truly feral or just scared from all of the abuse I had endured.

It turns out I am understandably a bit scared, but I am slowly coming around and trusting humans more and more each day. I am hiding less and enjoy hanging out in high places such as my cat tree. I might be OK with other non-dominant cats, but it is unknown if I could adjust to a dog. I am afraid of loud noises and will need a quiet home with loving adults who understand that I have a hard life and who will allow me the time to bond with you.
Are you looking for a gorgeous, sweet, new furiend to hang out on your lap and give you hugs? If so, I would really love to meet you!
