Hello! I go by the name Rhoda. I got my name as I was rescued from under a deck at a home in Rhododendron, Oregon. Rescued along with me were my 6 kittens!

I can’t tell you a lot about my history but this is what I know: I tested FIV+, but guess what? All of my kittens are officially FIV negative-just the kind of news a mother wants to hear! All this means for me is that I have an immune system that is not as strong as non-FIV+ cats, but it also does NOT mean I am unhealthy, or am guaranteed to become unhealthy in the future. I will benefit from good care and a loving home. Recent scientific studies have even indicated that I will not pass this on to other cats easily, so that is also good.

I am a sweet, loving kitty. Now that I have finished raising my adorable kittens, I’m ready for my own home. Could it be yours?
