Hello! My name is Sally, but I also go by “Sal”. I’ve got the best smile and I honestly never stop wagging my tail. I was surrendered to a shelter in 2013 because my family had a newborn baby and could no longer care for me. When I arrived I was a bit leery of new people which makes me harder to place then most dogs, but I fell in love with the staff that take care of me. When I see them, my heart flutters so fast, my tail cannot help but follow along. I am notorious for my smile and my constant wag. I am also known for eating every type of treat you give me and I love to learn. I do know shake, sit, come, stay, leave it, and give me your toy.

I’m a super affectionate and I love the people I know. When I see them coming to walk me I dance a little bit and cannot contain my excitement. My favorite hobbies include very LONG walks (I’ll never complain how long they are) and I LOVE the water and I will swim and swim and swim if you let me. I often spend time hunting frogs along the ponds edge and playing fetch is the best thing ever especially when you throw it in the pond for me. I do like to be brushed and will need it every so often.

I am not a fan of dogs even though I did live with a dog at one time, I’d prefer to be the only dog! I was cat tested and I barked at the cats a lot so I’d prefer to be the only one in the home. I should also mention that I love to fall asleep somewhere warm and will snore through many dreams if you decide to take me home!
