Do you see how happy I am in all of my pictures? It’s because despite being cast aside by my owners I still love and trust people, especially the Mostly Muttz volunteers who have made it their mission to enrich my life with many new adventures every day when they pick me up from my new, quieter kennel. They tell me I have a light in my eyes that prove my spirit won’t be dimmed!

I am putting on much-needed weight since my move and I’ve learned I have a few quirks. First, did you know how absolutely terrifying duck decoy statues are? They are seconded only by killer rocks that hide in the tall grass and baby pools where I might find my dainty paws wet if I’m not paying attention. I like to build a pillow fort behind which I hide with my tennis ball and happily chew for hours (if you let me!) but I’ll also just as soon snuggle on your lap.

So why am I still not adopted? Well, I need to be an only pet. I never learned to properly interact or play with others because my owners didn’t socialize me, and at 7 years old that’s just not going to change. I know there are plenty of people out there who just want that one special companion and I dream of one of those people bringing me into their home forever!
