Hello, I’m Tara. That’s an Irish name you know, and in Gaelic it means “Queen.”

I must say I feel quite queenly and dignified these days in my golden years. I’m slowing down a bit and I tend to stumble if I walk too fast, but I still love going for walks. The doc tells me I have a condition that affects my rear legs, but I don’t feel any pain. I’m now using a K9 cart to make it easier to walk.

I’m a super affectionate, gentle and laid-back kind of gal, and I’m crazy in love with people of all ages. As a dog, who also happens to be a mom, I know a thing or two about unconditional love! I’m completely devoted to my people and my son. My favorite things are going for leisurely walks (I wag my tail with excitement when I see my K9 cart), hanging out with friends and family, and lounging on a comfy blanket in the sun chewing on a bone or bully stick. I’m not so crazy about other dogs, except my boy Tucker, though I pretty much ignore them, as long as they mind their own business and stay outta my personal space, if you know what I mean. I also do not care for cats, birds or other critters, so it’s best I not share a home with them.

I’m now in foster care separated from my boy Tucker and I’m doing okay. I know he’s happy and safe and that’s what matters most to me. If you’re looking for unconditional love, I’m the gal for you! I prefer to be the only pet in the home and I need a secure fenced yard to keep me safe. I promise to bring you so much joy and tons of kisses, you won’t need anyone else.
