Hello, I am called Tazmina, and I don’t understand why I’m still here at the shelter. After all, my aristocratic beauty, regal bearing, and gorgeous flowing locks should attract everyone. I’m quite comfortable with people, too, and love pets and body rubs, and adore brushing. I play, too! I love the laser light and feather toys, and I will catch fuzzy mice and crinkly balls when you throw them for me.

Maybe I’m still here because I can be a bit…shall we say, moody. I love affection and play but I value my own time, too. When I want to be alone or to simply hang out by your side, then I really don’t want to be touched. Or maybe it’s because I don’t like other cats - I really don’t even want to see them. I’m the only one that should matter, after all. Perhaps I’m this way because my life as a stray put me through the medical wringer. My teeth were a wreck and now I don’t have any at all. My GI tract is only now reaching equilibrium again, and still has its ups and downs.

Still, surely there must be someone out there who wants to share their home with an affectionate and playful beauty like me. Perhaps they are someone who likes their quiet time, as well, and so understands when an aristocratic lady needs her space, to be quietly left alone. Perhaps you are that person! Shall we retire to the parlor and get acquainted?
