Hello, my name is Tiffany, and yes, that’s me calling to you. You can’t miss my loud and gnarly Siamese voice, nor the rather grumpy-cat face that goes with it. I’m 13 years old and never want to live as a stray again, so we need to get some things clear right away. While some consider that my grouchy look is one of my endearing features, be warned that the rest of me may exhibit grumpiness on occasions, too. I expect all the prerogatives of an elder cat from my humans, and that means getting attention when I want it and ignoring it when I don’t. I expect treats on demand and my food placed next to a cushy bed. I likewise anticipate spending considerable time in laps and receiving neck massages. Yes, I actually can be an affectionate lady and my purr is awesome, but if I’ve had enough, I’ll hiss and if the lap fidgets, I’ll hiss - still purring, of course, that doesn’t stop - but hiss I will. I expect my humans to respond to all these requests with dispatch. Of course, at other times I’ll simply ignore them. Age does have its privileges, after all!

Age also can have its downsides, and in my case it’s being hyperthyroid and a bit arthritic, and exhibiting possible stress-related cystitis. The thyroid condition is easily regulated with daily medication, while pain meds and special diet help with the latter. I will probably need these supportive treatments for the rest of my life.

So, I’m looking for a hard-core cat lover, an adopter who thinks that a cat who has lived as many years as I have should get to do what she wants whenever she wants and basically be the boss of everything. My adopter won’t be afraid of giving medicines, either, and will have lots of time to respond to my whims. If you are the one who is hearing my insistent voice calling, then it may very well be you whom I’m looking for. You may even enjoy my quirky behaviors and grumpy looks. I will certainly be generous with my unique charms and will give you all the love I can in my twilight years, cranky as it may sometimes be.
