My name is Twinkle and I was born all wobbly and unsteady on my feet. The vet says I have a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia. There is no cure for CH, but the good news is, over time I will learn how to deal with my challenges and can live a normal healthy life. I had a hard time eating when I was little and had to be supported so I could focus on my food, but now that I am older I am able to eat on my own. My mom says I am her messy-bessie but I get the job done. I love my food and I know right where to go when the bowl is brought out…on the green mat!

I always use the litter box and sometimes my style isn’t all that pretty but Mom helps me keep clean. I love to sleep on the bed at night and I am quiet as a mouse and never move…I just purr a lot and love to be snuggled.

I have had acupuncture treatments to help treat my “wobbly” condition and I walk much better now and don’t flop around as much. I walk on carpet and on vinyl with no problem. I can do one or two carpeted steps but nothing higher. I am indoor only and will never go outside due to my CH (I have no defense against predators), but that’s okay with me…I LOVE to be indoors with you! I can climb on the couch to sit on your lap and I can use a cat tree that is short. I love the gentle dog in my home and the older cats are nice to me. I LOVE it when there are kittens my age to play with and I run and bat balls almost like they do.

My mom is “very” picky about where I will live forever and will want to meet you. She says I am PERFECT the way I am…I hope you think so too.
